Coyote Mint
Monardella villosa
Coyote Mint is a charming and aromatic perennial that forms a compact mound of hairy, mint-scented leaves, complemented in summer by round, dense clusters of lavender-pink flowers. Standing about 1 to 2 feet tall, coyote mint is perfect for rock gardens, borders, and native plant gardens where its drought tolerance and attractiveness to pollinators can be best utilized. It thrives in full sun to partial shade and prefers well-drained soils.
