Early Goldenrod

Solidago juncea

Early Goldenrod, is one of the first goldenrods to bloom, showcasing vibrant yellow flower spikes from mid to late summer. Its narrow, lance-shaped leaves and stiff, upright habit make it an ideal plant for adding vertical interest to borders and wildflower gardens. This drought-tolerant perennial thrives in less fertile, sandy soils, making it a great choice for challenging garden spots where other plants might struggle. As with other goldenrods, its flowers are a magnet for bees, butterflies, and other beneficial insects.
