Large Flowered Trillium
Trillium grandiflorum
As its name suggests, Large Flowered Trillium showcases magnificent, large, white flowers that can sometimes turn pink as they age. Each stem bears a single flower, dramatically set above a trio of broad, green leaves. Blooming in early spring, these flowers offer a spectacular display in woodland settings or shade gardens. This trillium is a slow spreader, gradually forming a carpet of flowers that can become a standout feature in any shaded area. Thrives in rich, moist, well-drained soil and benefits from a layer of leaf mulch to mimic its natural forest floor habitat.

Maintenance Tips
- Division is generally not recommended as it can take years to recover; propagation by seed is highly preferable.
- Allow seedlings to develop undisturbed, as they are slow to mature and sensitive to disturbance.
