Larinem Park Woodland Stonecrop

Larinem Park is a particularly floriferous selection of one of eastern North America's most unusual sedums. Creeping stems form a dense low mat of rounded leaves arranged in distinctive groups of three, followed in late spring by masses of small white star-shaped flowers.

Unlike sun-loving ornamental sedums, native Sedum ternatum naturally inhabits shaded rocks, ravines, streambanks, and woodlands. ‘Larinem Park’ performs beautifully in partial or even substantial shade, while established plants also tolerate drought, shallow rocky soils, and some sun. Flowers provide spring nectar for bees and butterflies, and the species supports several caterpillars.

• Plant in partial shade to shade in well-drained soil; some sun is acceptable where moisture is adequate.
• Creeping stems root as they spread and can easily be trimmed, lifted, or transplanted if the plant moves beyond its intended area.
