Ohio Goldenrod
Solidago ohioensis
Ohio goldenrod stands out with its lush, dense clusters of golden yellow flowers that bloom profusely from late summer into fall. This species is shorter than many other goldenrods, making it suitable for the front to middle of a border or as part of a rain garden. Its ability to thrive in moist conditions and attract butterflies and bees makes it a valuable addition to any habitat garden or naturalized area. The plant’s vigorous growth and spreading habit also make it effective for erosion control.
