Pycnanthemum pycnanthemoides
Southern Mountain Mint, also known as Dense-Flower Mountain Mint, features compact clusters of white flowers that bloom profusely from late summer to early fall. These blooms are surrounded by silvery-green bracts that enhance their visual appeal and attract an extensive variety of pollinators, including bees, butterflies, and beneficial insects. The plant's leaves are fragrant and can be used to make herbal teas. Growing up to 3 feet tall, it is ideal for borders, herb gardens, and naturalistic settings, especially in areas dedicated to wildlife.
