Tall Evening Primrose

True to its name, Tall Evening Primrose can put on some series vertical growth: spikes covered in bright, yellow flowers, can reach up to 5 feet tall. Unlike many other flowering plants, these blooms open in the late afternoon to evening, emitting a sweet fragrance that attracts later day and night-pollinating insects such as moths. Thrives in full sun and well-drained soils, making it an excellent choice for borders, wildflower meadows, or as a backdrop in a cottage garden setting.
