Fall Native Plant Sale
Going Native for Glen Helen
Preserving nature and shaping lives, the Glen Helen Association is dedicated to stewarding and enhancing the Glen Helen Nature Preserve for both present and future generations.
We safeguard its ecological, historical, and geological resources while offering transformative environmental education to students, visitors, and our community. As a model for land stewardship and environmental learning, we are passionate about raising awareness of the importance of protecting native plants. Ohio’s ecosystems rely on these plants for essential food, shelter, and habitat for wildlife, as well as for maintaining healthy soils and waters. Unfortunately, native plant communities are under threat from climate change, invasive species, and development, which significantly impact wildlife and ecosystem health.
To address these challenges, we’ve partnered with My Home Park to boost the presence of native species in local yards and gardens. Join us in this crucial effort. Transform your turf grass lawn into a vibrant native plant oasis, full of life, color, and nutrients, and help us protect Ohio’s natural heritage and local ecosystems.
