Ohio’s ecosystems rely on these plants for essential food, shelter, and habitat for wildlife, as well as for maintaining healthy soils and waters. Unfortunately, native plant communities are under threat from climate change, invasive species, and development, which significantly impact wildlife and ecosystem health.
