Harebell

Campanula rotundifolia

Harebell is perfect for a low-growing garden, creating a delicate spray of blue when nestled among other plants. Its showy periwinkle bells sit atop wispy stems, rocking in the breeze and attracting many species of native bees. This long-blooming plant begins blooming in early summer and continues into fall, especially if flowers are deadheaded after bloom. Harebell is a short-lived perennial, but it will persist in the garden if allowed to reseed.
