Rosin Weed
Silphium integrifolium
Rosinweed features broad, lance-shaped leaves and robust stems that support its large, yellow, sunflower-like blooms. Flowering from mid to late summer, the flowers draw tons of pollinators such as bees and butterflies. Rosinweed's strong, upright growth habit makes it a fantastic structural plant for the back of a border or as part of a native plant meadow where its flowers can shine. It thrives in full sun and can tolerate poor, dry soils, making it a durable choice for challenging garden spots.
