Shrubby Cinquefoil
Dasiphora fruticosa
Shrubby Cinquefoil is a compact, bushy shrub that provides continuous color from early summer to fall with its cheerful yellow flowers. Each bloom consists of five petals surrounding a small, green center, creating a daisy-like appearance. This plant is exceptionally durable, tolerating poor soil, drought, and cold temperatures. Its fine-textured, dark green leaves turn slightly bronze in autumn, adding seasonal interest. Ideal for mass plantings or as a low hedge, Shrubby Cinquefoil attracts bees and butterflies while resisting deer.
