Sulphurflower Buckwheat
Eriogonum umbellatum
Sulfurflower Buckwheat lives up to its name, producing celebratory plumes of bright yellow flower clusters that bloom from late spring to summer. These blooms later turn a coppery-orange, extending their ornamental appeal. Growing up to 1.5 feet in height and spread, it thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, offering an excellent nectar source for bees and butterflies while adding texture and vibrant color to rock gardens, borders, or xeriscapes.
