Upland White Goldenrod
Solidago ptarmicoides
Upland White Goldenrod hardly looks like a goldenrod at all. For many years, it was mistakenly thought to be an aster! This unique goldenrod sports small white daisy-like flowers that open in late summer and fall. It's a great addition to a rock garden given its small size and drought tolerance. This goldenrod is well-behaved and does not spread aggressively in the garden as other goldenrods sometimes can.
