Sweetbay Magnolia

Sweetbay Magnolia is a graceful native tree with creamy white flowers, lemony fragrance, and elegant foliage. Waxy blooms appear in late spring to early summer, with occasional flowers later in the season, perfuming the air with a clean citrus scent. Glossy green leaves reveal silvery-white undersides when stirred by the wind, creating a soft flickering effect in woodland borders, rain gardens, and pond-edge plantings.
