Elliott's Lovegrass

Elliott’s Lovegrass is a warm-season bunchgrass prized for its fine-textured, shimmering foliage and natural elegance. Its soft, hair-like leaves form a tidy, upright clump that moves beautifully with the wind. By late summer, the plant produces airy, purplish seed panicles that float above the foliage like mist, giving the garden a delicate, flowing quality. Though naturally found in Southeastern grasslands and coastal areas, its ornamental appeal makes it a favorite in modern native designs, xeriscapes, and meadows alike. The seeds feed small birds, while the foliage offers structure and shelter for ground-dwelling wildlife.

Why Choose Elliott's Lovegrass?
