Coral Honeysuckle
Coral Honeysuckle, also called Trumpet Honeysuckle, is a non-invasive native vine with clusters of bright tubular flowers that bloom from spring into summer. The flowers range from deep red to coral orange and are especially attractive to hummingbirds, while butterflies and other pollinators also visit for nectar. Its twining stems make it a beautiful choice for arbors, trellises, fences, and garden structures.
Unlike invasive honeysuckles, Coral Honeysuckle offers a more garden-friendly growth habit while still bringing strong wildlife value. It grows best in full sun to partial shade with well-drained soil, flowering most heavily with more sun. After bloom, red berries develop and provide food for birds, extending its ecological value beyond the flowering season.

- Thrives in well-drained soil, adaptable to a range of soil types from sandy to clay.
- Provide a sturdy support structure for the vine to climb.
- Monitor for pests like aphids and powdery mildew, particularly in humid climates, and treat as necessary.
